1. Purpose

Department of Labor and Employment-X recognizes that Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) is integral to online communication and information dissemination to its users. ICT facilities improve communications and workflow, enhance productivity in fulfilling work responsibilities.
To remain competitive, DOLE-X provides widespread employee access to computers (desktop and laptop), the Internet, and the internal network to support office productivity.
The privilege of access comes the expectation of responsible use in a way that does not interfere with the operation of government and provide the best equipment to do their jobs.
